Metronomy share SHERELLE's 'Bed Shaking with Metronomy' remix of "Heartbreaker"
Originally released as a single in 2008, lifted from the band’s second album Night’s Out, the original version of "Heartbreaker" features on Metronomy’s forthcoming Greatest Hits album, celebrating their 20th anniversary, next week.
The band are set to compile standout tracks from their acclaimed seven studio albums and previously unreleased BBC live recordings from between 2009-2019, across BBC6Music, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2, in a special collection.
Metronomy have also announced a Signature Brew takeover in collaboration with Rough Trade on Monday 8th September to celebrate the release of Metronomy’s Greatest Hits album. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy limited-edition Signature Brew beers inspired by Metronomy, as well as meet the band for Greatest Hits signings and a fan Q&A session.
The event will also be in aid of Ravi’s Dream, a charity founded by Metronomy bassist Olugbenga Adelekan in support of his son, Ravi, who underwent brain surgery as a child. £1 from every Metronomy beer sold will be donated to the charity, which raises awareness and funds for children affected by brain tumours and supports related research.
SHERELLE's remix of "Heartbreaker" is out now via Because Music. 150 tickets are available via Rough Trade, and can be purchased with a format of Metronomy’s Greatest Hits album. Tickets are available to buy now and can be purchased via DICE.
