Melaina Kol shares new track, "Idola"
Melaina Kol — the alias of Nashville musician Logan Hornyak —has released "Idola", the latest preview of their upcoming album, Okay that’s a great idea because if I do that then, released in August.
"Idola" follows previous singles "Parallel" and "Lifeheart", and offers a vulnerable take on house music with broken vocal segments set against cello and percussion.
Speaking about the track, Hornyak says: “‘Idola’ is one of the more lyrical ones that I believe to be about growing old with someone and fearing constantly disappointing them as a response to what you think love should actually feel like."
