Mei Semones shares new song, "2 Hands"
Mei Semones has released "2 Hands", the newest taster from her upcoming second album, Howl.
"2 Hands" follows lead single "Howl", and sees Semones chronicle her experience of committing her life to music as she sings in both Japanese and English. The song also features drummer Ransom McCafferty on tabla, and arrives alongside a music video directed by Jacob Rodier.
“Everyone in my band is such an incredible musician and I feel so lucky and grateful to play with them, and that's what this song is about!," Semones says. "So for this video I wanted to capture what it's like to play music with them, and highlight how amazing and talented each of them are. Thank you to the director Jacob Rodier & the rest of the team for making us look cool :).”
Howl is released on 15 January 2027 via Verve/Interscope
