Megan Thee Stallion recreates Britney Spears' iconic MTV VMAs python moment
Yesterday evening, Megan Thee Stallion hosted the MTV Video Music Awards at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
Amongst several costume changes, Megan paid tribute to Britney Spears' iconic look from the 2001 VMAs where she performed "Slave 4 U" with a python in her hands.
Looking calm and collected as she pans into the camera view with the snake wrapped around her, Megan becomes anxious as the snake wraps itself around her crotch: "Okay, cut the music! I'm just playing. Come get this snake. I don't know this snake, and this snake don't know me," she says before squealing as someone comes to collect the snake from her arms. Composing herself, she says: "I tried to hold it down for Britney!"
