
Megan Thee Stallion is in talks for new Adam Sandler Netflix film directed by Safdie brothers
Six-time GRAMMY Award winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion reportedly in talks to be in new Safdie brothers film for Netflix.
Deadline reports that Josh and Benny Safdie have begun casting for their new Netflix movie which will begin production this summer. The brothers are both directors and producers on the project, and will be working with an original script.
Megan Thee Stallion is in talks to star in the film alongside Adam Sandler who previously worked with the brothers on Uncut Gems. Martin Scorsese will be an executive producer.
Whilst specifics to the plot have remained a secret, Sandler recently confirmed that it will be set in the world of sports memorabilia.
Megan Thee Stallion has previously appeared on TV series P-Valley, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Good Girls. She will also be making her feature film debut in A24's R-Rated musical comedy F***ing Identical Twins which is directed by Larry Charles (Borat, The Dictator).
Megan Thee Stallion hasn't released any new music since 2022's Traumazine but she revealed at this year's Oscar's that she is working on a new album.
Megan Thee Stallion is yet to share more details of her upcoming album.
