Marsy share double single, "Changes" / "Rosé"
Following their signing to Heavenly Recordings in October, London four-piece Marsy have released a new double single, "Changes" / "Rosé".
"Changes" / "Rosé" arrives as the band's second double single release on Heavenly, following "Chance The Dancer" and "Let No Other Change Your Mind" which dropped alongside the news of Marsy's signing to the label. The songs were both recorded with with Mike Lynsey {Tunng, LUMP) at his Margate studio.
Discussing "Changes", Marsy vocalist Hannah Rodgers explains: "‘Changes’ explores the effects of learned helplessness and the moment you decide to step out of it."
On "Rosé", a four-minute account of trauma and its emotional impact, Rodgers adds: "Inspired by Cerys Matthew's 'Chardonnay', ‘Rosé’ explores trauma, dissociation and the domino effect of acting on intense emotions & being stuck in a pattern of addictive behaviours."
"Changes" / "Rosé" is out now via Heavenly Recordings
