Margo Price recruits Sierra Ferrell for reimagining of "Change of Heart"
Margo Price has teamed up with Sierra Ferrell to reimagine her Strays album track "Change of Heart".
The new version of "Change of Heart" featuring Sierra Ferrell follows Price's February cover of Willie Nelson's "Shotgun Willie", and is Ferrell's first new outing since sharing the sped up version of "In Dreams" back in January.
Price says of working with Ferrell, "I’m real excited to share this stripped down take on "Change of Heart" featuring Sierra Ferrell. Sierra is one of my favourite new voices in music and I loved getting to work with her on this acoustic version of the song. I love to lift up other women in the genre when I see somebody putting out great art. In an industry that tries to drive us apart, it’s freeing to break down those barriers and say, "there is room for everyone"."
Earlier this month Price picked her Personal Best for Best Fit.
Margo Price's new version of "Change of Heart" featuring Sierra Ferrell is out now on Loma Vista Recordings.
