Man/Woman/Chainsaw detail AA release, "Adam & Steve"
London-based six-piece Man/Woman/Chainsaw have returned with a new single, "Adam & Steve", part of a one-off AA release landing with So Young Records.
Recorded at RAK Studios and featuring verses shared between dual vocalists Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen, the song is full of a longing for what might be lost. Billy Ward had the following to say about the song's themes: "We wrote Adam & Steve last year and it’s our own bittersweet take on the heart-on-sleeve love song. It comes from a place of wanting to find a little fairy tale escapism in modern romance."
"Adam & Steve" will feature as one half of the AA side single, with the second song and further details to follow later this Spring.
Last year came the band's debut EP, Eazy Peazy, landing on Fat Possum Records. Recorded with Gilla Band’s Daniel Fox at Echo Zoo studio in Eastbourne. The band’s Billy Ward says of their writing process: “We thrive on the thin line between pretty and noisy, often trying to jump between the two - it’s that chaos that excites us.”
"Adam & Steve" is out now via So Young.
