Mad Honey share new single “Moshfeghian” from their upcoming second album
Oklahoma City band Mad Honey have released “Moshfeghian”, the latest preview of their new album, Bridge Over Cumberland, due in May.
As part of Oklahoma City's rising music scene, Mad Honey have shared stages with the likes of Hotline TNT, Shallowater, Dummy, and more, since forming in 2018. Bridge Over Cumberland is set to arrive as their second full-length release on Deathwish Inc./Sunday Drive Records, following their 2023 debut, Satellite Aphrodite.
"Moshfeghian" follows previous singles “Reaching” and “Marie’s Song" as the core of the album, which taps into connection, self-destruction, and reinvention.
Speaking about the new track, guitarist Lennon Bramlett says, “‘Moshfeghian’ feels like the thesis statement of the whole record. It gets to the core of what we’re exploring: nostalgia, change, and the desire to hold on while letting go. Writing it helped us clarify the themes that run through all 11 tracks, and it’s the song that most fully captures the spirit and energy of BOC.”
Bridge Over Cumberland is released on 15 May via Deathwish Inc./Sunday Drive Records
