Lynks returns with new single, "I Didn’t Come Here For Art"
Pop-provocateur Lynks has returned with "I Didn't Come Here For Art" as the first release since their debut album, ABOMINATION.
Speaking on the track Lynks says: “You know, there’s only so many times you can go to an “event” at some trendy “multi-use space” and be subjected to a bunch of pretentious bullsh*t “art” performances while all the straight mullet boys in their Palace tees nod their heads thoughtfully before you have to think - hey, enough is enough. This track is my call to arms. End all art immediately!!!”
"I Didn't Come Here For Art" follows Lynks' 2024 debut album, ABOMINATION, and the standalone single, "SMALLTALK".
Last month, to launch this new era Lynks transformed London’s Selfridges car park into a subterranean queer rave above Oxford Street. The night saw surprise sets and guest appearances from Alex Chapman, Black Peppa, Tsatsamis, Elouiza, Greta Isaac and Thempress. It marked the perfect baptism for Global Sex — sweaty, euphoric, and unashamedly unhinged.
"I Didn't Come Here For Art" is out now.
