Luvcat leans into the art of surrender on new single, "Lipstick"

Luvcat spins a tale of play, power, and passion as she explains: “Lipstick is a song about love and kink. The desire to please and feel like a little doll to be played with but shown tenderness and devotion in equal measure,” Luvcat says. “It came from meeting a man who called me ‘doll’...”

Directed by Luvcat herself and Ollie Bradley-Baker, she explains: “The music video was inspired by my favourite scene from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang “Doll on a Music Box”. I used to dress up as her as a kid… a wind up doll come to life to terrorize the town. Some things never change I guess.”
