Lucy Dacus reveals Julien Baker's NYC show is cut short due to mid-performance illness
Julien Baker is currently in the midst of a North American tour, before she head to Europe and the UK next month.
After three dates at Thalia Hall, in Chicago, Julien Baker took her tour to the newly opened venue, The Atlantis, in Washington, D.C, where she was joined on stage by Bartees Strange. Last night, halfway through her set at Webster Hall in New York, Lucy Dacus appeared on stage to reveal that Baker was ill and unable to continue the performance.

"Julien rushed off the stage and is sick and is throwing up, which I just got clearance from her to tell y’all. So you know that it is really, actually something happening," Dacus revealed. "So the show is not gonna keep happening. She can’t just — you know. Nobody here wants that. Thanks for understanding. She’s already like, “What can we do for these people?” So know that you’re in mind and she was wanting to walk out here, shaking, and finish the show."
Baker has confirmed that her show tonight at Brooklyn Steel will go ahead tonight as planned.
Julien Baker will play a five-night run of shows at London’s EartH between 19-21 November. Visit julienbaker.com for more information.
