Loyle Carner has shared brand new single "about time / lyin" as the latest preview of his forthcoming new album, hopefully !.
Although universal in spirit, "about time" is vividly open in personal detail: the track closes on a conversation about home between father and son, a relationship threaded throughout hopefully !. B-side "lyin", meanwhile, puts Loyle Carner’s long hidden singing voice front-and-centre, as he contends with the anxieties of love, and the growing responsibilities of adulthood.
hopefully !, is set for release on 20 June via Island EMI, and is available to pre-order now.
