Low Girl detail forthcoming debut album, Is It Too Late To Freak Out?
Low Girl announced their forthcoming debut album, Is It Too Late To Freak Out?, alongside the release of its lead single, "Handbrake".
Detailing their upcoming release, Sarah Cosgrove explained: “This track came about on a gloomy November evening through Bradley, myself, and a Mac. We had just finished touring with October Drift, and I had a case of the post-tour blues. Some of that angst evidently bled into the track, but lyrically ‘Handbrake’ deals with themes of guilt and desperation. I think, like many of the album tracks, I’m expressing things I was too passive to articulate in the moment.”
"Handbrake" marks the first reveal from their forthcoming full-length, and arrives alongside news of an extensive UK headline tour this autumn to coincide with its release, with stops in Leeds, Liverpool, London, Bedford, Portsmouth, Cambridge, Middlesborough, and Manchester.
Is It Too Late To Freak Out? is set for release on 22 October via AWAL, and available to pre-order now. For more information on their live dates, visit lowgirl.uk.
