London's five-day, multi-venue Footsteps Festival kicks off tonight at The Grace with final names announced
Taking place across venues including The Garage, Moth Club, The Windmill, Oslo, and The George Tavern, Footsteps has already confirmed sold-out nights for Ratboys, Milo Korbenski, and Office Dog, and kicks off tonight at The Grace.
The final names announced for the festival include Mel Blue, Bone China, Alex Amor, and more.
Now in its second year, Footsteps pairs emerging artists with established cult favourites and international touring acts, placing emphasis on the independent music spaces that sustain the city’s live scene. This year’s programme includes headline appearances from Warmduscher, Ratboys, Sarah Blasko, Meryl Streek, A Certain Ratio, Girl Scout and Anamanaguchi, alongside a roster of support acts intended to spotlight new talent.
Limited tickets remain for Meryl Streek, Anamanaguchi and Warmduscher. The Ratboys, Milo Korbenski, and Office Dog nights have already sold out.
The festival runs from 18 May to 22 May. The full daily lineup includes:
8 May: Sunday Mourners + Bone China at Shacklewell Arms; Dork x M for Montreal x Mothland at The Grace; Swordes + MM’99 at Moth Club; Marion Raw at SJQ.
19 May: Office Dog + Passion LC at The Windmill (sold out); Charlie Houston + Martha Jean at The Grace; A Certain Ratio + Holly Head at The Garage; Public Circuit at The Elephant’s Head; Afternoon Bike Ride + Gloria Laing at Shacklewell Arms.
20 May: Preen + MF Tomlinson at The George Tavern; Girl Scout + Slumber at The Garage; MORN + auntie at Paper Dress Vintage.
21 May: Anamanaguchi at Oslo; Milo Korbenski at The Waiting Room (sold out); Ratboys + Sunday Mourners + Former Champ at The Garage (sold out); Meryl Streek at The Lexington; Opal Mag + Alex Amor at SJQ; Blossom Caldarone + Avice Caro at TheatreShip; Sarah Blasko + Any Young Mechanic at St Matthias Church.
22 May: Mel Blue at Paper Dress Vintage; Warmduscher + Formal Sppeedwear + Bloodworm at The Garage; Grandma’s House at The Grace; Quickly, Quickly at Oslo Hackney; Lawn Chair at The George Tavern; Milo Korbenski at The Waiting Room (sold out).
