Logic announces debut independent album with Lucy Rose collaboration "Wake Up"
Logic has announced his first album as an independent artist, College Park, and has recruited Lucy Rose for the lead outing "Wake Up".
"Wake Up" is Logic's first release of 2023, following last year's Norah Jones collaboration "Fade Away" for the Norah Jones is Playing Along podcast, and features Lucy Rose.
College Park will be Logic's eighth studio album, and first as an independent artist after ending his decade-long stint with Def Jam Records. It'll feature contributions from Norah Jones, Seth Macfarlane, Joey Badass, RZA, Statik Selectah, Redman, Fat Trel, and Bun B, and is an autobiographical album, named after the town where Logic spent a year sleeping on a sofa in the basement of his friend Big Lenbo's house.
"Wake Up" featuring Lucy Rose is out now. Logic's College Park album will arrive on 24 February, and is available to pre-order now.
