Loathe to return with first album in six years, A Stranger To You
Liverpool-based alternative band Loathe have announced their upcoming third album, A Stranger To You, and shared new single "Revenant", featuring NOWHERE2RUN and Code Orange’s Jami Morgan and Eric “Shade” Balderose.
"Revenant" arrives as the second taster of A Stranger To You, following lead single "Gifted Every Strength", released last year. With contributions from Balderose and Morgan, the track is heavy on rhythmic synth with funk-inspired grooves.
A Stranger To You follows on from Loathe's second album I Let It In And It Took Everything to create a new sound for the band, expanded by psychedelia, synths, and unique percussive layers. The album is noted as the band's most sonically adventurous work to date, with its complexity spread across the fourteen tracks.
