
Live at Leeds: In The City announces its final lineup, including Jessica Winter and Pixey
Live at Leeds have announced 38 brand new artists to complete the lineup for their In The City festival, taking place across 15+ venues on 14 October.
Today’s announcement includes the likes of ‘80s-inspired pop riser Jessica Winter, Frank Carter’s favourite punk rockers Kid Kapichi, East London's indie risers Human Interest, folk six-piece Tapir!, Ellie Bleach, Pixey, and many more.
These rising acts join an already stellar line up that already boasts critically acclaimed south London post-punk band Shame, cult favourite psych-rockers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Dutch indie-boppers Pip Blom, Hotwax, Picture Parlour, Lynks and Nell Mescal.
An innovator of the multi-venue festival format in the UK, Live at Leeds will once again take up residence in some of the cities most recognisable and beloved venues including The Brudenell Social Club, Belgrave Music Hall, Oporto, Leeds University Union and more.
In The City have also announced the official stage partners for the festival with key contributors to the UK’s contemporary music scene BBC Introducing West Yorkshire, BBC Introducing Live, DORK, The Line of Best Fit, Sofar Sounds and Dance to the Radio all curating lineups that reflect the country’s thriving new music scene.
Launched in 2007, Live at Leeds has become one of the country's most recognisable and important festivals dedicated to championing new artists. An unforgettable stop on the careers of thousands of musicians, in its storied history the festival has notably hosted early performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975, George Ezra and countless others.
