Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock announces debut solo single, "DSL"
Following Little Mix's hiatus in 2022, Leigh-Anne Pinnock has announced her debut solo single, "DSL".
Earlier this week, Leigh-Anne Pinnock tweeted the hashtag “#LeighAnneIsComing” whilst encouraging fans to join her Discord. Yesterday (6 June), she revealed that she is gearing up to release her debut solo single.
In the comments of her Instagram post, her Little Mix bandmates can be seen fully supporting Pinnock on her solo venture. Perrie Edwards wrote: "Omg. I dieeeeeeeeeeee. The visuals. The vocals. The lewkkkk!", whilst Jade Thirlwall commented: "WE ARE READYYYYYYY" with the love heart and flame emoji.
Pinnock is yet to share a release date.
After Little Mix started their hiatus in May 2022, following the Confetti tour, they announced that they'd be taking a break as a group to pursue solo careers. The group was made up of Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards after Jesy Nelson left the band in 2020 to follow her own solo path.
In February of last year, she signed a solo deal with Warner Records. The following month, Pinnock won documentary of the year at the Visionary Honours Awards for Leigh-Anne: Race, Pop & Power film. Earlier this year, she partnered with Audible UK to narrate The Little Mermaid.
Pinnock will be releasing a memoir entitled Believe. The book will be released on 26 October and is available to pre-order now.
