The first proper album from the solo alias of Water From Your Eyes’ Nate Amos was released back in 2024 but was reissued last year in a deluxe edition with tracks featuring MJ Lenderman and Snail Mail. Now the record is getting an additional reissue as the Box for Buddy, Box for Star (Super Deluxe) edition with fully reimagined versions of every song including a hushed and glitchy take of “Perfect Hand” from Power Snatch, the recently announced new project from Hayley Williams and her Ego Death producer and multi-instrumentalist Daniel James, released today alongside the album announcement.

Williams announced the Power Snatch project – a collaboration with Daniel James who worked with her on Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party – back in January and the duo surprise dropped their first EP last month.

Of the track Amos says “Getting to hear Hayley and Dan's beautiful take on ‘Perfect Hand’ for the first time was surreal, getting to contribute vocals was even more so. Couldn't be more stoked for this to exist.”

Daniel James adds, “we’ve both been fans of Nate's for a long time, and loved getting to rework one of our favourite This is Lorelei songs. His natural way with lyrics and melodies made it easy to translate the song to a different place for this project. It also happened to be the song that started Power Snatch.”

The compilation will also feature SASAMI, Momma, Jeff Tweedy, fantasy of a broken heart, Tim Heidecker and more. Check out the artwork and full tracklist below.
