Lil Yachty teases new collaborative album with James Blake, Bad Cameo
Taking to their socials, James Blake and Lil Yachty have teased a forthcoming album, Bad Cameo.
In the teaser video, Yachty is speaking to someone off camera, and reveals hat he has worked on a collaborative album with Blake. “Granted, I think James has worked with a quite substantial amount of hip-hop artists,” says Yachty. “But this project is just like – it’s so left. For both of us... aside from the one picture that James posted, which he doesn’t have many followers actually, I don’t think people know that we know each other exist.”
Blake previously shared an image of him and Yachty in the studio in March last year. Soon after he debuted a track they made together at a CMYK event last summer.
Bad Cameo is set for release later this year.
