Lil Mariko, Illuminati hotties, Palehound and more added to Sled Island line-up
Sled Island Music & Arts Festival has announced the full line-up for its 2026 edition, returning to Calgary, Alberta between 17-21 June.
Over 150 bands have been added to the final line-up, including hyperpop rapper Lil Mariko, who will be making her Canadian debut, Los Angeles-based "tenderpunk" band Illuminati Hotties, alt-rock band Palehound, Indigenous electronic cello ensemble Cris Derksen Quartet, Midwest slowcore band Flooding, Canadian indie rock outfit Fanclubwallet, thrash punk group TEAR DUNGEON, post-punk artist J.R.C.G., New Mexico-based pop-punk band Weedrat, and the final two guest curator selections: experimental musique concrète project Cooling Prongs, and Nigerian‑American pianist Sharon Udoh — who will also be joining clipping. for their performance at The Palace Theatre on Saturday, 20 June.
Additionally, the festival will feature several emerging acts, including Indigenous hip-hop artist Drezus, Winnipeg indie rock band Virgo Rising, Whitehorse-based “gateway metal” duo FRANKLIN, ambient pedal steel performer Wayne Patrick Garrett, electronic artist Eejungmi, San Francisco experimental pop project Tricky FM, Toronto-based art-rock outfit Kali Horse, punk band Spank Williams, post-hardcore outfit Midnight Peg, and operatic post-punk four-piece, Shunk.
Sled Island will also host two nights of two nights of stand-up comedy with performances from Canadian comedians Ben Sosa-Wright, Mikey Dubs, Sophie Haze, Amar Singh, Gabby Rose and host John Cullen.
