Leigh-Anne unveils new single, "Burning Up"
Ahead of her headline set at Manchester Pride and a debut performance at Reading & Leeds festival this weekend, Leigh-Anne has returned with new single, "Burning Up".
Speaking on "Burning Up", Leigh-Anne said: "Burning Up came to life at a writing camp in New York with some of the most inspiring writers and producers I’ve ever worked with. We went in with no rules, just vibes and instinct. The beat hit me instantly; it felt euphoric, high-energy, but there was something emotional running through it too, which made it more than just a banger. I played with my voice in ways I never have before with different textures, phrasing, pushing my range. It really stretched me as an artist, and I think you can feel that in the track"
"Burning Up" continues a new era of freedom and control for Leigh-Anne and follows last month’s single, "Been A Minute". These two tracks mark Leigh-Anne’s first new music since her 2024 EP, No Hard Feelings.
"Burning Up" is out now via Virgin Music Group.
