Yuck unveil Yu(c)k low-key alter-ego on new EP
Yuck seem to have a split personality. Aside from the guitar pop they’ve peddled on their releases to date, they’ve announced the release of a new EP called Weakend, which unveils their minimal, more piano-led songs. For this, they’ve added some () to their name: Yu(c)k. Fair enough.
The EP will be released only on cassette on the cult US label Mirror Universe Tapes and will be strictly limited to 100 copies. Yu(c)k will also be playing a very special show at Blue Flowers on July 4, before resuming duties as Yuck proper on the festival circuit later in the summer.
