Youth Lagoon cancels European tour following death of a close friend
Having recently played London’s Barbican Centre over the weekend, Youth Lagoon has today announced his decision to pull the rest of his current European tour following the death of a friend.
The Idaho musician had been scheduled to make three more appearances at the tail end of the month, now confirming that they’ll no longer take place in a statement released online.
The statement reads:
“I am so sorry to announce the upcoming shows in Oslo, Emmaboda, Brighton & Secret Garden Party will have to be cancelled. I recently lost one of my closest friends and I need to be home with family and friends to celebrate his life. I apologize to all who had purchased tickets, and I’ll see you all again soon. I love you all.“
Youth Lagoon recently released new album Wondrous Bughouse on Fat Possum.
