Yes Way! A mini-festival celebrating the best of left-field music and art
Yes Way is a weekend festival in London, a collaboration between promoter and label Upset The Rhythm and Auto-Italia, celebrating the best and brightest of the UK’s art and music underground.
Set in the rather unusual venue of a former car showroom in Peckham, South East London, over two stages, 41 acts from across the country will perform alongside multimedia work from an array of visual artists.
There’ll also be a temporary DIY supermarket, a live TV lab opening the festival up to viewers on the internet, a selection of vegetarian and vegan food, and a not-for-profit bar. Nice.
So, who’s playing you ask? Well, there’s wonderful noise-pop of Cold Pumas, the lo-fi scuzz of Male Bonding and the weird rock of Lovvers… and that’s just the Friday night. Saturday sees the likes of Ghost Hunter, Islet and Fair Ohs play, and Sunday gets the noise rollicking with Veronica Falls, Dam Mantle and Gentle Friendly.
Tickets, for the whole weekend, are a rather cheap £18, and can be grabbed here.
For more info on the weekend, including a full list of bands, there’s many, head over to the Yes Way website! See you there.
