Years & Years' Olly Alexander joins Anaïs for a stripped back performance of "No Control"
The soulful Anaïs teams up with Years & Years' Olly Alexander to perform a minimalistic and raw version of her track "No Control".
Anaïs has revealed a new duet and stripped back performance of her track "No Control".
With just a piano, Anaïs invites Years & Years vocalist, and co-writer Olly Alexander to play the piano and provide harmonies and a duet.
The video sees Alexander stick to the melody until the first chorus, where he creeps in slowly, before leading part of the last verse and chorus with his unique voice.
After the performance, the long-term friends have a chat about the writing process of the track.
During their discussion, they talk about Nile Rodgers, and how the track came together quickly and naturally.
Alexander leads the questions, and helps Anaïs to open up about venturing out of her comfort zone, as she confesses that she's a "control freak".
