Yeah Yeah Yeahs ban camera phones from gigs
With their new album out next week and its supporting tour just kicking off, Yeah Yeah Yeahs have reportedly urged fans not to film their upcoming shows.
As SPIN point out, the trio have posted signs outside their gigs asking for fans’ consideration for those around them, as well as people back home who have future gig tickets but don’t necessarily want the experience ruined for them also.
The poster in question reads:
“PLEASE DO NOT WATCH THE SHOW THROUGH A SCREEN ON YOUR SMART DEVICE/CAMERA.
PUT THAT SHIT AWAY as a courtesy to the person behind you and to Nick, Karen and Brian.
MUCH LOVE AND MANY THANKS!
YEAH YEAH YEAHS”
