Wye Oak reveal new tour, single and video
Beautifully animated by painter Katherine Fahey and photographer Michael O’Leary, the new video for Wye Oak‘s song ‘Fish’ is quite simply stunning. The two Baltimore based artists collaborated to bring Jenn Wesner and Andy Stack’s compelling, guitar led harmony to life. Following a puppet-like figure from his journey as a fisherman to a fish-man, vibrant hues flutter amongst crisp black silhouettes while Wesner’s low, plaintive tone passionately swells beneath keys and soft cymbal shimmers.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed album Civilian, Wye Oak have revealed ‘Holy Holy/‘Fish’ will be released as a double a-side single on 20 June to coincide with their European tour.
