There’s always been Woodpigeon fans at TLOBF towers, and as you might remember we were quite taken with their latest record, Die Stadt Muzikanten. You can imagine our response then, when it was brought to our attention that Baeble Music have recorded a session with Woodpigeon’s frontman Mark Hamilton. The session includes Hamilton’s performances of the songs ‘Enchanté Janvier’ and ‘…And As The Ship Went Down You’d Never Looked Finer’ from the new album, as well as ‘I Live A Lot of Places’ from the previous record Treasury Library Canada. As if that wasn’t good enough, Hamilton also gives some intriguing insights as to the origins of the songs and his own perception of them. Enjoy…
