
Wolf Parade return with new single and details of their first album since 2010
Wolf Parade are back with "Valley Boy", the first single from Cry Cry Cry - their first new album in seven years.
The new record is Wolf Parade's fourth and follows 2010's Expo 86 album and last year's comeback release EP 4. It was produced with John Goodmanson at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle, with Greg Calbi on mastering duties in NYC.
"Wolf Parade said to one another when we decided to reunite that we weren’t going to do just a reunion tour and just play Apologies To The Queen Mary and make a bunch of cash and check back out 18 months later," the band's Spencer Krug told us last year. "We said, if we do this, it’s to start up the band again in the interest of making new music, and touring that new music, as well as, of course, touring old songs, as any band does... we tried to make it as if we never stopped."
Wolf Parade have a bunch of shows confirmed for the coming months, including support slots with Arcade Fire. UK shows will be revealed in the near future.
