Charlotte Gainsbourg‘s musical pedigree is no secret. The daughter of French avant-pop provocateurs Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, her predilection for sophisticated francophonic pop music is a birthright. Singing both in French and English, Gainsbourg has collaborated with many musicians including Beck and Jarvis Cocker, to produce mature songs, often preoccupied with the gravest and most melancholy of subjects…

Gainsbourg will be making her debut UK appearance at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on June 22, hosted by London based promoters Eat Your Own Ears.
