Producing the likes of Low recently, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy is now offering the general public his recording services.
Tweedy has put up eight hours of studio time in a charity auction to raise money for his children’s school, Chicago Northside High Prep.
The auction’s descriptions reads:
“Your session will be tracked by a staff engineer and overseen by Jeff Tweedy who will also help you produce and arrange your song….and maybe even play on it if you need him to! You will leave with a CD of a finished mix. Date to be determined according to schedules.”
You can place a bid here, the total so far currently stands at a whopping £4,250.
UPDATE: Now it’s at over $20,000!
