Vancouver singer/songwriter Whitney K is sharing his record Goodnight on Best Fit ahead of its release on Friday.
The album, splashed with Southern Gothic colours and lo-fi experiments, is the first for Maple Death Records from Konnor Whitney. It's a twisted ride though weird folk, threadbare rock'n'roll, texture, form, psychedelia, and convention.
Goodnight was recorded at home on a four-track called 'Moth Insurance', and is mixed by former Jackie O’ Motherfucker member Joshua Stevenson (Nü Sensae, Destroyer, Steve Hauschildt, White Lung).
Goodnight is released 22 April on Maple Death.
