White Denim announce new album Stiff, reveal lead single "Holda You (I'm Psycho)"
White Denim have announced a new LP titled Stiff, and have unchained its lead track "Holda You (I'm Psycho)".
Last year, White Denim frontman James Petralli released his debut solo album, Constant Bop, under the moniker Bop English. Petralli describes Stiff as a "high heat, high energy, good times record."
For the first time, White Denim have recruited an external producer: Ethan Johns (Paul McCartney, Laura Marling, The Staves). It also includes a co-write with Cass McCombs.
Stiff is the first album to feature new band members Jonathan Horne and Jeffrey Olson following the departures of drummer Joshua Block and guitarist Austin Jenkins.
White Denim have also announced two UK shows for next month. On 15 February they'll play Manchester's Deaf Institute, and on 16 February they'll hit up London's Islington Assembly Hall.
Stiff is due out 25 March on Downtown/Sony RED.
