Welsh Music Prize announce 2012 shortlist
Los Campesinos!, Islet, Cate Le Bon and Future of the Left are among this year’s Welsh Music Prize shortlist.
The Welsh award, like the British Mercury Prize, is given to the best album of the past year created by a Welsh-born or Wales-based act.
Last October’s inaugural trophy was handed to Gruff Rhys for Hotel Shampoo.
