Weaves' Jasmyn signs to ANTI- and shares new song "Find The Light"
Former Weaves member Jasmyn Burke has announced her signing to ANTI- Records as a solo artist, and has unveiled a new single titled "Find The Light".
Jasmyn is the new solo project of Weaves' Jasmyn Burke, and today (10 November) she's delivered her debut solo outing titled "Find The Light", which was "loosely written during the Fall of 2020."
Burke continues, "The world was feeling pretty heavy, and I felt myself wanting to write music that created a mood of happiness and space to grow. It feels like we’re living in this sort of in-between space, where life is altering. I wanted to explore finding comfort and hopefulness through uncomfortable change. I feel like I have grown and changed as a person over the last few years and wanted to write songs that created a sense of confidence and well-being."
Jasmyn's debut solo single also coincides with news of her signing to ANTI- Records.
Toronto group Weaves released their latest album Wide Open in 2017, and in 2019 they released their most recent single "Internet Tears".
