Waxahatchee showcases 'Misery Over Dispute' video
Waxahatchee, aka Katie Crutchfield, has shared this monochrome clip for her song ‘Misery Over Dispute’.
The track is lifted from Cerulean Salt, a former Best Fit ‘Album of the Week’ back in June, with the video seeing Crutchfield alone in an auditorium, proceeding to show off some impressive tap dance moves.
“I had the idea about a year ago to do a video with tap dancing. I danced for 14 years all throughout my childhood and tap was always my favorite,” said the musician. “I’ve wanted to incorporate it into what I do for a very long time so when the idea of doing a slow-motion video with tapping came to me, it felt like I was merging these two pockets of my life.”
Waxahatchee will also head on tour later this year with her sister Allison’s band Swearin’, who recently signed to Wichita.
