Waxahatchee announces El Deafo soundtrack with closing theme song "Tomorrow"
Waxahatchee has announced the soundtrack for an upcoming animated Apple TV+ series called El Deafo, and has unveiled the closing theme song "Tomorrow" as the lead outing.
"Tomorrow" is Waxahatchee's first new material since releasing her own version of Woody Guthrie’s "Talking Dust Bowl Blues" in August, and will appear on the soundtrack for a new Apple TV+ series titled El Deafo.
According to Waxahatchee, "Tomorrow" is the "closing theme song" for the series.
Waxahatchee's Katie Crutchfield wrote of the soundtrack on Instagram, "I’m so happy to finally announce an amazing project i had the honor of being a part of. Last year i wrote some original music for a new show on Apple TV+ called EL DEAFO, based on the book of the same name by a true hero Cece Bell. Myself along with Rob Barbato spent a few months arranging & recording these tunes & it was an amazing experience all around."
