Having announced via his Twitter account in April that Wavves were readying a new EP, front man Nathan Williams has revealed the details of Life Sux. No longer signed to Fat Possum, the new record will be released via William’s own Ghost Ramp label and will be available at independent record stores from 20 September. As promised the EP features collaborations with girlfriend Bethany Cosentino of Best Coast fame as well as Fucked Up man Damian Abraham.
Produced by the band themselves at Infrasonic Sound in LA, Cosentino sings and Best Coast band mate Bobb Bruno play guitar on a track entitled ‘Nodding Off’ while Abraham lends vocals to ‘Destroy’ whilst Fucked Up drummer Jonah Falco lends his sticks.
