Willis Earl Beal headlined New York’s Knitting Factory on Monday night (28 October), where he was joined on stage briefly by Cat Power’s Chan Marshall.
Marshall and Beal proceeded to sit crosslegged on the floor of the stage and offered up impromptu renditions of Bob Dylan’s “Pledging My Time” and Cat Power’s own ”Colors and the Kids”.
