We won’t go into the sheer grandiose brilliance of this song because frankly, we’d only end up repeating ourselves. However, courtesy of Urban Outfitters (the hipster high street chain of choice), The War On Drugs‘ ‘Come To The City’ now has a rather excellent accompanying video. “An explosion of colour and noise” was how we described the track a few weeks ago and, well, the video is pretty much just that.
The War On Drugs new album Slave Ambient is available to stream in full via Urban Outiftters now. The album is released officially on August 15 via Secretly Canadian. In support of the record, they’re due to play the following dates:
September
13 – Cargo, London
14 – The Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
15 – The Harley, Sheffield
16 – The Green Door Store, Brighton
