Watch the trailer for the Wild West zombie film starring '90s boybands
The trailer for Dead 7, a post-apocalyptic zombie western starring random members of '90s boybands, is here at last.
The film is from The Asylum, the makers of Sharknado, and is written by Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter (who also appears in the flick). Other big-name boyband members include fellow Backstreet Boys A.J McLean and Howie Dorough, NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons, plus Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller of O-Town.
It seems that humanity's last hope rests on the shoulders of brought-back-from-the-dead versions of these iconic pop artists, who are now cowboys instead for some reason.
Speaking about the film, Mr. Carter says that he's been working on it for about eight years: "It takes a long time, especially when you have no credibility whatsoever and you've got to figure it all out yourself."
The film is released 1 April on Syfy.
