‘Feel to Follow’ is taken fromThe Maccabees latest album, Given to the Wild, which sees the London five-some embrace a new sound that seems to have divided fans and music critics alike. Nevertheless, ‘Feel to Follow’ is an emotive number pieced together like a story, as guitars and pianos fade in and out, change pitch, speed up and/or slow down.
The video is equally emotive albeit confusing, featuring levitation, serene yet isolated houses, groups of people gathering in a wood, and culminates with short scenes that are literally out of this world. It beautifully complements the sense of mystery ‘Feel to Follow’ evokes; check it out above.
