Watch The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson sing "Heartbeats" karaoke-style
Last night, after finishing up a show at New York City’s Terminal 5, The Knife held an after-party at Westway (a club in the West Village), where Karin Dreijer Andersson participated in some impromptu karaoke of her own band’s “Heartbeats.” On an unrelated (but totally related) note, Bill Murray was reportedly in attendance. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the beginning and end of his role in this event.
BrooklynVegan reported that “at first they played the song as part of the karaoke and she didn’t get up to sing, but after much cheering from the crowd which included the Knife backup dancers, she eventually did get up and do it when they played it again.”
