Widely thought of as one of London’s best live bands, Savages relocated to the West Country to graduate to being one of the best live bands in the UK as a whole, when they took on Glastonbury Festival in Somerset last night.
Releasing their critically-lauded debut album, Silence Yourself, earlier in the year, Savages played the John Peel Stage at the Worthy Farm fest; delivering a now-expected performance of high intensity that the tent’s namesake would surely have relished.
