Patti Smith paid tribute to the late Lou Reed last night in New York, performing his classic track “Perfect Day” live.

Smith was appearing at the Tibetan House benefit concert, an evening which also saw Sufjan Stevens team up with The National and Iggy Pop covering Joy Division with New Order.
