Psych-poppers MGMT recently released their new, self-titled third album, today streaming a video for one of its tracks.
The new clip, for standout cut ’Cool Song No. 2′, sees actor Michael K. Williams (aka Omar from The Wire / Chalky White from Boardwalk Empire) play a “plant hunter”, a criminal who turns trees into drugs (of course).
The twist comes when the character falls in love with a man who’s been mutated by the chemicals, proceeding to fall apart before his very eyes.
