Yesterday was the fan-appointed “Star Wars Day” (“May the 4th be with you”), and in celebration, CollegeHumor rounded up a stable of musicians to perform a sketch depicting auditions for A New Hope‘s iconic Mos Eisley Cantina Band.
Filmed on the actual Cantina set, the cast included Liz Phair, Ben Folds, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Chris Daughtry, Lisa Loeb, Reggie Watts, Rick Springfield, Jordin Sparks, and Mark McGrath. The video even features MC Chris auditioning with his own “Fett’s Vette.” And, naturally, the whole thing is just teeming with folks geeking out over Star Wars gags. Watch below.
