Watch Kendrick Lamar diss Drake at the BET Hip Hop Awards
-
Earlier this month we reported a beef brewing, as a snippet of Kendrick Lemar‘s BET Hip Hop Awards cipher surfaced featuring an attack on so-called “sensitive rapper”, Drake.
With the awards taking place last night, we can now share the performance in full, in which the infamous Drake-dissing verse remains unchanged:
Yeah, and nothing’s been the same since they dropped ‘Control’/ And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pyjama clothes / Ha-ha jokes on you, high-five, I’m bulletproof/ Your shit’ll never penetrate/ Pin the tail on the donkey/ Boy you been a fake.
Lamar took home five awards including the coveted Best Album accolade, while Drake won four including Best Hip Hop Video for ‘Started From The Bottom’. Other rappers to perform include A$AP Mob and 2Chainz.
